Job Description
As a Design Center Coordinator working for Taylor Morrison you will be working in our Design Center. You have an exciting opportunity to help a person’s dream of having a beautifully designed/decorated TM home come true. Customer service and energy is what this role is all about. Work with the Design Center Consultants and customers to schedule their appointments to select the features for their new home.
We trust that as a Design Center Coordinator you will: (responsibilities)
- Take incoming calls and assist homeowners with scheduling appointments with design consultants to select options for their new home
- Troubleshoot and delegate questions from vendors, constructions, purchasing and sales
- Assist homeowners with option revisions when design consultants are inaccessible
- Have a sales-driven attitude to help increase sales and profits for division
- Input design scheduled and completion dates into SupplyPro and verify for accuracy
- Attend Starts meetings and give updates on behalf of the Design Center
- Assist with design paperwork processing and uploads
- Maintain an understanding of the products offered and the current industry trends
- Ensure all Design Center displays and samples are organized and presentable
- You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:
- You have 1-3 years administrative experience
- You demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications as well as have savvy computer skills
- You possess advanced-level Excel skills
- You are very organized and good at documentation
- You are customer service oriented and believe customer is number one priority
- You understand the need to be flexible and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Will have responsibilities such as:
- This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

- Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
- Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher-level manager
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
- Comply with company policies and procedure
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
