Job Description
We trust that as a Regional Land Manager you will: (responsibilities)
- Review, evaluate, and revise/comment on all new Land Acquisition Underwriting Packages for the Region
- Review, evaluate, and revise/comment on large Microsoft Excel Homebuilding Financial Models
- Review due diligence materials and understand land entitlement and development strategies and timelines
- Review, evaluate, and revise/comment on Strategic Marketing for transaction justification
- Review transaction structures within the context of projected cash flows
- Meaningfully contribute to all aspects of the Annual Strategic Planning process
- Prepare and distribute quarterly market update reports regarding Divisional sub-markets and consumer groups as they evolve
- Detailed reviews of initial and ongoing land development budgets
- Drive standardization processes across the Region
- Create and deliver portions of Divisional Land Acquisition Underwriting Packages for Divisions as needed
- Drive varied special projects within the Region on an ongoing basis

About you:
- Land acquisition experience and process understanding
- Land development experience and process understanding
- Land development budget review expertise
- Financial experience with land acquisition underwriting
- Residential building legal contract review experience as it pertains to underwriting
- Strategic marketing experience including Strategic Plans and Competitive Market Analysis for Residential Building
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor Divisional team members as an ongoing process
- Data management, review, assemblage, and insightful report summation capability - Zonda
- Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated success in the homebuilding industry
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high volume environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Planning, Civil Engineering or Construction Management, MBA a plus
FLSA Status: Exempt
Will have responsibilities such as:
- Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
- Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
